The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt was the world's biggest egg hunt, with more than 260 egg sculptures placed across the five boroughs of New York City. Pat Steir's sculpture, along with eggs by Enoc Perez and Chris Carnabuci, were on view in the Great Hall at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in April 2014 to coincide with the event, which concluded with an auction benefiting Elephant Family and Studio in a School charities.
